Acupuncture
Acupuncture points are thought to activate the central nervous system, prompting the release of chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical shifts can enhance the body’s natural healing processes and promote both physical and emotional well-being. With over 2,000 years of history in Chinese medicine, acupuncture has proven to be an effective treatment on its own.

Electroacupuncture
Electroacupuncture is a modern variation of traditional acupuncture that involves applying a small electrical current to acupuncture needles.
During the treatment, the needles are inserted into specific acupuncture points on the body, and a gentle electrical current is passed through them. This current stimulates the acupuncture points, enhancing the therapeutic effects.
The electrical stimulation helps increase blood flow, promote the release of endorphins (natural painkillers), and encourage the body’s healing process. Electroacupuncture is commonly used to treat conditions such as chronic pain, muscle spasms, and inflammation. It combines traditional acupuncture with modern technology to potentially offer more immediate and intensified therapeutic benefits.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture
During a facial rejuvenation acupuncture treatment fine needles are placed at acupuncture points in the face and body to stimulate collagen production, reduce tension in facial muscles and TMJ, improve blood and lymphatic flow, decrease inflammation, reduce acne scarring and fine lines while sculpting and lifting the face naturally. It is a natural way to avoid or reduce injections of filler or toxin and achieve a more natural look as we age. After the needles are removed, the treatment is followed up by gentle facial gua sha with a facial serum to achieve a healthy glowing and relaxed appearance.

Cupping
Moving cupping is a variation of traditional cupping therapy where the cups are not stationary, but are instead moved along the skin while maintaining suction. This technique involves applying oil or lotion to the skin to create a smooth surface, allowing the cups to glide over the body. Once suction of the cups is established, we will gently slide the cups over specific areas of tension or pain, creating a dynamic, flowing movement over the skin in various directions (up, down, or in circular patterns, across various planes helping to release and loosen tight calcified muscle and fascia and improve blood circulation in the targeted areas.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Moxibustion
is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves the burning of moxa, a substance made from dried mugwort, near specific acupuncture points on the body. The heat from burning moxa releases essential oils that stimulates circulation, warm the body, and promotes healing.
