Electroacupuncture

Electro-acupuncture is a form of acupuncture that utilizes micro-current transmitted through electrodes attached to the needles to increase the stimulation of the needles and enhance the effect of treatment, especially beneficial in the treatment of acute or chronic pain.  Studies have shown a significant increase in the levels of the neurotransmitters (endorphins and enkephalins) released following electro-acupuncture treatment.
